First reported here back in June of 2005 I was beginning to think the Bodygroom was vaporware!
It seems however that as of sometime early this month the Philips Norelco Bodygroom was released to the masses.
Check the reviews on Amazon for some firsthand reactions. For those that have been using the Bodygroom for its intended purpose (groin, chest, underarms, etc.) there have been glowing reviews but those who (stupidly) attempted to use this to groom their face or skull were sorely dissapointed.
Available from Amazon and Target for an affordable $40, the Philips Bodygroom appears from the reviews to do exactly what it was intended - shave unwanted body hair in all of those unsightly (and sensitive) places.
Just like any other cosmetic product however, the need may not exist until you create it - create the insecurity and people will consume the solution. Teeth whitening, pore cleansing, starfish bleaching, ball shaving you name it. If it didn't bother you then, by the time you've been inundated with enough advertisements it'll bother you soon enough.
To be fair, bodygrooming is a subject that comes up fairly often among us men and the Philips Bodygroom is likelt to satisfy many a hairy nut. Check the reviews... some of them are hilarious!
