Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Vaugn Bode's original and iconic Cheech Wizard character, Puma teams up with Mark Bode (son of Vaughn) for the release of a limited hoody and Clyde. Just 4 years after the original Cheech Wizard vinyl figure was released, our memory is stirred once again as Mark intends to keep his father's work relevant and in the public eye for generations to come.
Personally, I remember the character from my cousin's stash growing up and anyone who knows their grafitti history will recall the Wizard appearing on many a New York subway train and in every classic graffiti book ever released. As quoted on the Official Bode site: "When the first graf writers in NYC began tagging in the 70's, they drew Bode characters. Artists such as Seen, Dondi and Mare 139 paid tribute to Vaughn with such pieces. From there, it became a worldwide trend to use Bode characters on trains & murals."

Triple Five Soul's Spring 2007 line for Women picks up where the Men's line left off - keeping with the fresh-picked cotton palette but adding a more refined women's touch. A bit of purple thrown in, some nice bags added to the mix and lighter shades of everything throughout. 555 Soul's gear when done right is tailored nicely for the chic lady in the street. I bought a knee-length hoodie for my girl the looks exquisite and fits her like a glove - even in her petite frame.
While your over there checking out the collection, be sure to get a look at their new line of Women's shoes. Definitely some out-there stuff!

555 Soul's Spring 2007 line for men is all about light, airy and muted colors - lots of white, baby blue, tan, and a bit of army. The colors remind us that the dark and wintery days are over and summer is almost here!

Kicks Hawaii has the much sought-after Nike White Label Windrunner series. The trick with these is that you can buy two, unzip them both and mix n match the colors. The White Label series includes reversables, perforation and plenty of minimal details to catch the eye.
10 Deep Spring 2007 @ Turf

Turf Shoes in San Mateo just got in what I believe is half their stock of 10 Deep. More to come this Monday. The 2007 Spring Line of 10 Deep's gear has been much anticipated so definitely keep an eye open for the rest of the gear as it makes is to the shop.
