I just received this surprising gift in the mail from the good folks at Scion. Included was the following letter:
"Dear Shimone, I am writing as a follow-up to the Special Service Campaign procedure that was recently performed on your tC. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected necessity for service. At Scion we take these issues seriously, as we always want to make sure that your car performs to our high Scion standards.
A little over 2 years ago, we launched the Scion brand with the intent of connecting with consumers in a different way. We strive to make every customer interaction a positive one. We hope this recent service experience reinforces our intentions.
As a token of our appreciation for your confidence in our brand, please accept the enclosed limited edition JADA tC, produced specially for Scion. Thank you for choosing Scion, we wish you many enjoyable miles driving your tC.
Sincerely
Mark S. Templin
Vice President
Scion"
The Special Service Campaign referenced was a fix to the wind deflector on certain early 2005 and 2006 model Scion tCs. Although only three reports were received by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in certain instances it was believed that flying debris could impact with and shatter the moonroof when open and driving. The fix was to add a laminate to the moonroof.
At any rate, I got this cool looking Scion tC model by Jada Toys. At first glance it's just a toy but a lot of work went into the detailing, the paint, the engine and trunk, the dashboard, lights, exhaust, wheels etc.
p.s. I had no idea the t was lower-case and the C uppercase. tC !

MAD*L Artist Series
posted: Monday April 24, 2006 - 5:38 PM

The MAD*L Artist Series takes the best designs from the MAD*L 2K5 Customs exhibition and makes them available in 5 inch form.
From the exclusive interview:
"If you haven’t ever seen any pictures of the MAD*L 2K5 show, go and sit in the corner and think about what you’ve not done. Then google like crazy. Put simply, the MAD*L exhibition raised the bar for custom shows. 60 artists tackled the monstrous 20-inch blanks Wheat Wheaty produced and boy, did they do good.
The line up was a genuine who’s who of the toy and art worlds. Graff legends rubbed shoulders with cutting edge illustrators, who in turn snuggled up to some of the world’s finest Lobrow artists. However whilst it provided enough artistic eye candy to last a lifetime, MAD had an ace up his sleeve – The MAD*L Artist Series.
The first installment of this line is bringing us Chris Lee, Mimic, Tado, Kozik, Sket One and, of course the man himself, MAD."
My personal pick goes to the Mimic and Twilight customs. Definitely the most interesting in my opinion.
The Mad*L series is priced in the $40 range and is currently available for pre-ordering with an estimated ship date sometime in May.

Yes people, the latest yo-yo from those nutters at Anti-Yo is on its way and it's an absolute stunner. Completely off the wall with the crazy colors - who does that?? Anti-Yo proves once again that they are not afraid to push the envelope of what's hype in a yo-yo product.
Not sure on launch date for this but stay tuned to the Anti-Yo website and of course right here on Jungle Life as I'm sure to get ahold of this beaut just as soon as I can. I'm unsure of the name but the title I was given (Pink Camo Swarovski Encrusted Supreme Billionaire Boys Club Bapezilla) should give you at least a clue I would assume!
This new piece should be available shortly at YoYoNation and other great lifestyle product stores!
