MobMov: Guerilla Mobile Movies
MobMov is a unique twist on the drive-in theatre experience - in true guerilla fashion, Mobile Movie locations are announced every other weekend via email.

Visitors get a chance to enjoy such great movies as The Usual Suspects, The Big Lebowski, Run Lola Run, Donnie Darko, and Citizen Kane - without the long lines, endless commercials or high ticket prices.

Mobile Movies are rarely held in the same place and at the start of the show everyone tunes their cars to the same radio station, sits back and enjoys the show!

MobMov is also organized in Los Angeles and Sacramento California, Melbourne Australia, Waterloo and Winnipeg Canada, Huntsville Alabama, Marietta Georgia, Cambridge Masachusetts, Cecil County Maryland, Grosse Pointe Park Michigan, Billings Montana, and Houston Texas.

Definitely seems like fun and very reminiscent of Film Night in the Park. Subscribe to your local newsletter for the next show time!

Ron Jeremy
Okay so this post is completely off-topic (assuming there's any one "topic" to be had here) but as I was reading FHM magazine this morning I found out that Ron Jeremy was an exta in the movie Ghostbusters (a reader wrote in swearing he'd seen Ron Jeremy in a freeze-frame). As it turns out, Ron Jeremy was indeed an extra but was so far off the screen he could only be seen in the widescreen theatrical version.

So, as that's a random fact I figured - why not look him up in IMDB? Turns out he's appeared in 955 different movies. It's kind of hard to tell if they are all porn but still, 955 movies?? A coworker said something to the effect of "see how many Jackie Chan has been in". So I checked. He's done a paltry 97 films. Miniscule by comparison.

In the FHM interview Ron Jeremy said that he plays extras all the time - sometimes up to 20 movies a year. For those directors hesitant to credit him as Ron Jeremy he goes by the name Ron Hiatt (among some 10 other pseudonyms).
